Who is Birdie Martini?
Comparing myself to a bird is how I got my first barbacking job, and this parallel has followed me throughout my time in hospitality from coworkers to patrons – one of whom gave me my original instagram handle @bombshellbirdie which has evolved into Birdie Martini. Mrs. Hannah Martinez is my government name, and I’m a bartender.

You can find me at Seven Grand when I return to work in August from my maternity leave. For now, I will be painstakingly building the digital portfolio of my dreams when my two month old sleeps. About Me
I am a whiskey girl at heart with a postpartum affinity for Mezcal espresso martinis. I excel in any spirit-forward concoction and largely steer clear of anything involving multiple juices (sorry Tiki community, I love y’all but it’s just not my thing.) I love making menus, I’ve thrown a few good parties at Til Two Club, and I’m working on some bar education projects which will be really really cool. These projects involve extensive sorting through notebooks, post its, and receipt paper, as they represent four years of intel gathering and craft mastery, but trust – it will be worth it. (If you’re an aspiring bartender, sign up for my waitlist here to get notified when it drops.) Other than that, I am a Girl Mom to one human child and two cats, wife to a talented line cook soon to be stay-at-home dad, and I’m a painter/scribbler on the side. Art things are also in the works, and will live here too. If you’re into print clubs with funky cocktail spec ACEO prints, I’ll probably get around to that too.
